This is the Jabulani, the official match ball for FIFA World Cup 2010, is a ball with a mind of its own. The ball was criticized by many as it will unpredictably change direction whilst in the air. Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon also commented that it was sad that a competition so important as the world championship will be played with such inadequate ball. Many players and team coaches also criticized the ball for its unpredictable flight path.
Design:
The Jabulani is made up of a completely new design. It is made up of eight thermally bonded, three-dimensional panels. The ball was textured using a technology invented by Adidas, called "Grip 'n' Groove".

Abs Fitness To Get 6-Pack Abs
Man does not get six-pack abs on crunches alone. While the first prehistoric man to sport ridges on his underbelly (after he got rid of the scales) was probably very active, his mastodon meals were loaded with protein, and he didn't have to worry about highly processed foods. Considering he had a brain the size of a small lemon, his ab-friendly nutritional regimen wasn't the result of forethought; rather it was a series of small strategies he incorporated unconsciously. That's what we have come up with for you: 12 small nutritional tweaks that are so painless, you won't take notice of them until your stomach begins to look like the back of a stegosaurus, and the local women start migrating to your cave without requiring the customary club-strike to the backs of their heads.
1 Don't cut too much fat. It may be tempting, in your quest for perfect abs, to completely embargo all fat, but it's not wise. In research conducted at Harvard University Medical School, subjects on a low-calorie, moderate-fat weight-loss diet were able to stay with the program longer and adhere to it more closely than those who cut fat out altogether. Stick with Mediterranean-style fats such as olive oil, fish, nuts and avocados, which do not promote heart disease or cancer, but do have health benefits such as lowering your cholesterol and protecting your joints.
2 Use nonfat dairy products high in calcium. Substituting nonfat milk for whole milk is a no-brainer, but clearing out all that saturated sludge is just one of the pluses. Scientists at the Department of Nutrition at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, found that subjects who included nonfat calcium sources in their diets lost more body fat than calcium-free subjects.
3 Drink more water. For years you have heard doctors, nutrition experts, personal trainers and MEN'S FITNESS apostles say you need to drink eight 8-ounce of glasses of water a day. This is great advice for maintaining overall heath and ensuring optimal performance, but if you can swallow a bit more, you can burn extra fat. In a study published in the journal Metabolism, subjects who hyperhydrated experienced greater lipolysis, the burning of stored fat. Water helps mobilize fat stores, while dehydration prompts stubborn fat to sit tight (or, more accurately, sit loose). Many weight-loss experts believe that drinking one ounce of water (or any noncaffeinated, nonalcoholic beverage) per pound of body weight is the formula for effective fat burning.
4 Avoid carbonated beverages. If you're trying to lose fat, full-sugar sodas should be one of the first things you banish from your diet. However, many bodybuilders and other physique competitors stay away from carbonated drinks, even diet ones, as they believe the beverages cause bloating and water retention, perhaps due to the sodium content.
5 Replace starches with vegetables. While we don't endorse voguish carb-restricted diets, it is true that many people overeat carbs, especially processed ones. Try cutting your usual portions of rice, potatoes or pasta in half, substituting a cup of a vegetable such as broccoli, cauliflower, green beans or zucchini. While a cup of white rice contains 240 calories, a cup of mixed steamed vegetables has only 50.
6 Don't eat a big evening meal. A lot of guys harbor the false notion that skipping meals during the day will help them shed pounds. However, this inevitably leads to massive bingeing at night, which is a sure way to put on flabby pounds. Instead, eat your bigger meals earlier in the day and progressively downsize the later it gets. A study published in the Journal of Nutrition showed that calories eaten in the morning are much more likely to be used for energy than calories eaten at night, which easily go unused and are stored as fat.
7 Creatine helps burn fat. For years creatine has been used to pump up muscles, but it also helps burn calories. A study published in the International Journal of Sports Medicine showed that creatine can help you burn an extra 100 calories a day. Try five grams a day, taken after your workout, for at least six weeks.
8 Vary your caloric intake. Instead of eating the same thing day in and day out, try this: Eat very strictly two days a week and moderately three days a week, then give yourself a little slack on the weekends. (We said a little.) The opportunity to splurge a bit makes it easier for you to stay on a low-calorie intake for longer periods. It also sends your body mixed signals, never giving it the chance to kick in its primitive survival mechanism that stores fat when calories are cut back.
9 Pump up the protein. When you decrease your total calories, you need to increase your protein intake an extra 20 percent to maintain your muscle mass and keep your metabolism in high gear. For a guy who weighs 180 pounds, this computes to 36 grams of protein a day. Calorically, this won't make much of a difference; it's only an extra 144 calories.
10 Make some of it casein protein. Casein protein, found in milk and cottage cheese, is a slow-burning protein that takes more time to break down than whey. By staying in your system for a longer period, it provides your muscles with a steady stream of amino acids, helping maintain your muscle mass and thus keeping your fat-burning furnace stoked.

This World Cup 2010 Seems To Be Not That Enjoyable Compared To Year 2002 & 2006. From What I Can Recalled, Brazil The 5 Years Championship Lose To Holland Which Does Not Even Hold A Single Champion Before. Nevertheless, Italy & France Met In World Cup 2006 Final But They Never Even Enter Quarter Final In This World Cup 2010. What Actually Went Wrong? I Can Only Say That Italy, France & Brazil Have No Good Team Management Therefore They Led To Failure. I Am Already Looking Forward To World Cup 2014 In Brazil. Which Team Actually Stays In My Mind For The World Cup 2014? For Me, I Love Spain Since I Small Therefore I Support Spain All The Way. But Germany Always Let Me Give Them A 'Thumb Up' For Their Matches. Their Formation And Players Are Truly Amazing. I Pretty Love To See The Combination Of Thomas Mueller And Miroslav Klose. Once They Tag Team, I Can Say They Hold The Highest Chances Of Winning. Without One Of Them, They Might Lose The Game.

A Bodybuilding Diet
You Don't Have to Starve When You Diet A good bodybuilding diet needs to follow 3 rules:
1.It should favor smaller and frequent feedings throughout the day instead of smaller ones. 2.Every meal should have carbohydrates, protein and fat in the correct ratios: 40% carbs, 40% protein, 20 % good fats. 3.The calories should be cycled to prevent the metabolism from getting used to a certain caloric level.
Meal 1 (7 AM) 1 cup of dry oats mixed with water 1 cup of egg beaters
Meal 2 (9 AM) Meal replacement packet like Prolab's Lean Mass Complex (which has a 40/40/20 nutrient ratio) mixed with water or a protein powder (with around 40 grams of protein) mixed with 40 grams of carbs from cream of rice, grits, or oatmeal. 1 Tablespoon of Flaxseed Oil (Spectrum brand is best)
Meal 3 (12 Noon) 1 cup of brown rice, or medium sized baked potato, or 1 cup of oatmeal 2 cups of green beans, broccoli or any other desired vegetable 6-8 ounces of chicken, turkey, or lean fish
Meal 4 (3 PM) Same as Meal 2
Meal 5 (6 PM) 1 cup of brown rice, or medium sized baked potato, or 1 cup of oatmeal 2 cups of green beans, broccoli or any other desired vegetable 6-8 ounces of chicken, turkey, or lean fish
Meal 6 (8 PM) Same as Meal 2
Try This Daily And You Shall See The Effect Soon.

Eight picks, eight correct, eight tentacles. Paul the Oracle Octopus is clearly the biggest winner of the World Cup after recording a perfect prognostication record whether he knows it or not.
Since Paul is an international celebrity of the highest order now, everyone wants a piece of him - both literally and figuratively. Italy is trying to claim that he was caught in Italian waters, Spanish businessmen are trying to buy him for €30,000 ($38,000), and Dutch priests tried to dismiss him.
Let me analyse the probability of the winning rate. 8 picks, 8 wins. 0.5 To The Power Of 8(Wins) = 1/256 Amazing? A octopus can simply make a wild guess and strike in consecutive 8 times in a row. If he can live till next World Cup, I believed Singapore Pools will definitely close down as soon as possible.
At first, this octopus never really let me believe him so much till the match Germany versus Spain that let me see through his physics power. That's all I have to say for today.

Carom billiards is the overarching title of a family of billiards games generally played on cloth-covered, 5 by 10 feet (approximately 1.5 × 3 m) pocketless tables, which often feature heated slate beds. In its simplest form, the object of the game is to score points or "counts" by caroming one's own cue ball off both the opponent's cue ball and the object ball(s) on a single shot.
History of carom billards Straight rail, sometimes referred to as carom billiards, straight billiards, the three-ball game, the carambole game, and the free game in Europe, is thought to date to the 1700s, although no exact time of origin is known. It was known as French caroms, French billiards or the French game in early times, taking those bygone names from the French who popularized it.
Example of carom billards
This is an example of carom pool. Semih Sayginer is also one of the famous carom players. These are the trick shoot that includes masse and many tricks that we have not seen. Masse is actually a french word if im not wrong. It stand for a very strong type of spin.
In Singapore, we seldom see carom billards. It is not common seen as not many people know the rules of carom. However now i have shared a simple version of carom, hope you will enjoy it. In singapore, 8 feet and 9 feet pool tables are commonly seen. Theres also such things as snooker.
For today ,im going to talk about another new topic: World Cup. Its a hot faves for almost all of us.
The World Cup is the premier competitive international football tournament, first played in 1930, whose finals stage has been held every four years since, except 1942 and 1946, due to World War II.
Im gonna talk just about england England The England national football team did not enter the competition until 1950, and has entered ever since, for a total of 16 tournaments.England's best ever performance is a sole win in the 1966 tournament held in England(Home).
However,it was kinda disapointing in 2010 World Cup. England did not even make it to the semi-final.England was kicked out at round 2.

The Football Association, also known as the FA, is the governing body of association football in England. It is the oldest football association in the world. The FA was set up because there was no universally accepted rules for playing football, thus the FA was formed to set a set of rules to which all could play in accordance to. In 1992, the FA took control of the Premier League which has broken off from the Football League. Since then the Premier League has become one of the richest football leagues in the world. One interesting fact was that the Rugby Football Union was formed because of some disagreements as to how "football" should be played. The Football Association also founded the longest running major football competition in the world, the FA Cup. The FA is also a permanent member of the International Football Association Board which is responsible for the laws of the game(The rules of soccer).

Today, the topic is on one of the most famous pool player. Efren Reyes
Efren Timbol Reyes ,was his full name, (born August 26, 1954) is a Filipino professional pool player from Angeles City and a two-time world champion. Reyes is considered to be one of the all-time greats in the games of nine ball and one-pocket. He is nicknamed "Bata" and "the Magician".
The fame of Efren Reyes began when he won the US Open Nine Ball Championship in 1994 by defeating Nick Varner in the finals. He was the first non-American ever to win the event.
Efren Reyes has about 82 titles and achievement. His recent achievement was the "2010 Derby City Classic Master of the Table"
This is one of his recent matches. The type of game is 9 ball pool. His opponent was Mika Immonen. They had to play a race to 7 to determine who is the winner. Reyes played quite well during the match. In this game, both players make use of two different types of cue sticks:Breaking cue and personalise cue. Reyes won the game with 7-0.
In this video, Reyes did a marvellous 4 bank shot to kick in the ball.
What is a kick shot? It is a shot in which the cue ball is driven to one or more rails (cushions in British English) before reaching its intended target—usually an object ball.
A 4 bank shot! No wonder he was nicknamed the Magician! Its so impossible to do that.
Today I will be telling you some things about my favorite football team Manchester United!
Some Facts:
1.At the time when this blog post was posted, Man U was ranked by the Forbes magazine as the second most valuable sports team brand.
2.Sir Alex Ferguson is the club's most successful manager.
3.Manchester United's home ground is Old Trafford, which they have used from 1910.
4.Manchester United is the first team to win the Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions all in one season.
5.Founding member of the Premier League.
Origins and brief history:
The club was formed in 1878 as the Newton Heath LYR Football Club. The name "Manchester United" was only officially used in 1902. Between 1878-1945, the team did not progress really well, where the club almost gone bankrupt. In 1945, Sir Matt Busby took over as club manager. Sir Matt Busby led the club to considerable success, thus the years that Sir Matt Busby served as the club manager was known as the Busby Years.Sir Matt Busby retired in 1969. The period between 1969-1986 was not particularly successful for the club. Until Sir Alex Ferguson took over the club in 1986. Sir Alex Ferguson led the club to achieve great heights being the first team to win the treble in the same season,1998-1999 season.

Rules and history of 9 ball pool
9-ball is a contemporary form of pool, with historical beginnings rooted in the United States and traceable to the 1920s. The game is played on a pocket pool table with six pockets and with ten balls. The cue ball, which is usually a solid shade of white , is struck to hit one or more of the other nine balls , each of which is distinctly colored and numbered 1 through 9.
In nine-ball, on all shots including the break shot, a player must cause the cue ball to contact the lowest numerical ball on the table first before the cue ball strikes any other ball and, except when a push-out has been invoked , either a numbered ball must be pocketed or any ball (including the cue ball) must contact a rail to avoid committing a foul. This does not mean that object balls have to be pocketed in order; any ball may be pocketed at any time during the game, so long as the lowest-numbered ball is contacted first by the cue ball. Because nine-ball is not a call shot game, the 9 ball itself can also be pocketed in this manner for a win at any time in the game, even on the break shot. The person who pocketed in the 9 ball win if he did not make a foul
Picture of the rack that i did
The break that i did
9ball is derieved from 3ball followed by 6 ball then 7 ball.

Today we are going to talk about the basics of pool. In order to play pool, what must we have? Of course it's cue stick. There are many different types of cue stick definitely. Two main cue stick: pool house cue and snooker cue.
Firstly,i shall define what is cue stick.A cue stick is an item of sporting equipment essential to the games of pool, snooker and carom billiards. It is used to strike a ball, usually the cue ball. Many people do not really bother what is cue stick and probably made of what. Today,i shall tell you how long is a cue stick. Cues are tapered sticks, typically about 58 inches (1.5 m) long and 18–21 ounces (510–600 g). Most cues are made of wood, but occasionally the wood is covered or bonded with other materials including carbon fiber or fiberglass.
Tip
Leather tips of varying curvature and degrees of hardness are glued to (or in some cases screwed into) the ferrule. The tip end of the cue will vary in diameter but is typically in the 10 to 14 millimeter range with 12–13 mm for pool cues, and 10–11 mm for Snooker cues being most common.
Rounder tips impart spin to the cue ball more easily since the point of contact between the tip and the ball requires less distance from the center hit to impart the same amount of spin, due to the increased tangential contact. Tips for break and jump cues are usually nickel radius or even flatter, and sometimes made of harder materials such as phenolic resin; the shots are forceful, and usually require less spin.
Ferrule
The end of the shaft has a cuff known as the ferrule which is used to hold the cue tip in place and to bear the brunt of impact with the cue ball so that the less resilient shaft wood does not split. Ferrules are predominantly made of ivory (in case of billiards and pool), carbon fiber, or a plastic such as melamine resin, aegis or phenolic resin which are extremely durable, high-impact materials that are resistant to cracking, chipping, and breaking.
Bumper
The final part a cue is the bumper, made of rubber (pool) or leather (snooker). Though often considered less important than other parts of a cue, this part is essential for protecting a cue. The bumper protects the cue when it rests on the ground or accidentally hits a wall, table, etc. Without the bumper, such impacts might crack the butt over an extended period of time.Without the bumper, the resonance of the cue hitting the cue ball may vibrate differently than in a cue with a properly attached, tight bumper. Though minuscule, the bumper also adds some weight on the end of the cue, preserving a balance that also impacts the feel of a cue.
Today I will be talking about my footballing idol Sir Matt Busby!
Some Facts:
1.He is the longest serving manager in the history of Manchester United.
2.Initially he wanted to serve as manager of Liverpool F.C. but couldn't, so he went on to manage Manchester United F.C.
3.He was made an inaugural inductee of the English Football Hall of Fame in 2002 in recognition of his impact on the English game.
4.He also saw the rise of a group of talented young players nicknamed the "Busby Babes".
What impressed me about Sir Busby was that he did not give up managing his team even after the Munich air disaster which saw the loss of so many of the players in his team. He even managed to lead the team to greater heights by winning the European Cup (UEFA Champions League). I was really impressed by this as I don't think many would have the determination to continue with their careers after such a horrific experience.
